Highlighting integrators that go above and beyond to push the limits of audiovisual innovation, the partnership between Comcast Spectacor, ANC, and TAIT Towers on the world’s-first 4k kinetic center-hung scoreboard (U.S.Patent No. D928,876: Multi-Directional Display) at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center has been selected as one of Systems Contractor News' 2019 Installs of the Year.
Along with 11 other projects, the new center-hung at Wells Fargo Center was selected for its transformative design that is changing the way the industry looks at center-hung displays. Arena scoreboards have never had the capabilities to extend and compress 4mm LED technology in such an adaptive manner. A culmination of ANC’s expertise in experiential design and technology implementation and TAIT’s creative engineering and manufacturing, the system features more than 6,600 square feet of 4mm LED video technology – the most in an arena that hosts both NBA and NHL games.
Throughout our 16-year partnership, Wells Fargo Center and ANC have developed one of the most immersive and technologically advanced venues in the country. Over the years, ANC has outfitted all of the venue’s LED fascia, immersive LED concourses, two outdoor LED displays, highway-facing billboards, team store technology, as well as more than 400 LCD displays and digital menus. With more than 26,400 square feet of LED technology, the Wells Fargo Center presents a fully immersive fan experience.
