ANC Founder and Vice Chairman, Jerry Cifarelli, on the passing of influential NBA commissioner David Stern:

“A longtime friend, I had the great honor of working closely with David and his team on creating innovative signage opportunities for the NBA and WNBA. David’s encouragement convinced myself and Alan Cohen to start ANC 25 years ago – and further supported efforts for us to expand signage technology solutions across the entire sports realm.

While David’s direct impact on the NBA and WNBA are well stated by all, I can attest to the broader impact he has had on the companies and people outside of the league, who simply had business affiliations. Over the past 25 years he consistently remained available whenever I sought his professional advice and guidance, something I will remain grateful for. He made companies like us feel like an important piece of the broader success of the league and referred to us many times as NBA family.
